Brothers both came off motorbikes at Kurrajong Heights
More to fill out our Breaking News piece from Saturday about the double motorbike accident at Kurrajong Heights.
The younger bother, a 47-year-old from Casula, was riding east on the Bells Line of Road BLOR when he lost control, sliding into an embankment on the left hand side of the road.
His 50-year-old brother from Lurnea was riding a motorcycle directly behind and hard braked as a result of the accident in front of him, losing control and also coming off his motorcycle.
There was minimal damage to both bikes but the busy road was closed in both directions. Both riders were taken by ambulance to Nepean Hospital for scans.
The younger brother had pain to the neck and back area. The older brother had pain to ribs and back.
A witness told police they didn’t believe speed was a factor, and police believe a possible error of judgement is the likely cause.
