Jul 11, 2021

A Freemans Reach man who travelled to Lithgow with his mates to go camping and dirt biking has been fined $1000 by police.

Police spoke with three men outside a Main Street café in Lithgow shortly before midday yesterday.

The men allegedly told police they were camping nearby and had travelled to the area to ride trail bikes.

The 33-year-old from Freemans Reach, a 28-year-old man from Riverstone, and a 30-year-old man from Bidwill, were each issued with infringement notices for $1000 for breaching the stay-at-home direction. They were directed to return to their homes.
