COLO HEIGHTS POWER UPDATE – 10am

For all you folks up at Colo Heights without power – 132 properties, we’re told by Endeavour – we’ve just been talking to Endeavour Energy and they believe it will be this afternoon before power is restored.

They say the main issue is the power line has to be patrolled first to check for problems. They couldn’t do that last night because conditions were so bad.

“Conditions last night made patrolling unsafe,” said an Endeavour spokesman.

The standalone generator also could not be switched on until the line has been checked, the Endeavour spokesman told us, which is why it wasn’t used last night.
