Cooking With Our Community – a very tasty event at Bilpin Hall – Sunday June 26
A really great upcoming event, the Cooking With Our Community at Bilpin Hall is one of the initiatives funded as part of the Federal government’s response to the Black Summer Bushfires.
Given tomorrow – Wednesday – is the first day of a Coronial Inquiry into the back-burn that got out of control and threatened Bilpin, it’s fitting that this event is going to be held in the village.
Bringing communities together has proven to be vitally important as healing continues from the effects of the Black Summer fires, floods, and the pandemic, so this event is timely.
And it will be tasty too.
The event kicks off at 10am to 2pm on Sunday June 26 and chef Petruta will be cooking blueberry jam and apple pie, so after the cooking share lunch, there will also be scones with jam, and pie.
Phone 4754 4050 to book your place.
This activity has been funded by Wentworth HealthCare, provider of the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network as part of the Australian Government’s response to the 2019/20 bushfires.
