COVID HEALTH ALERT – IKEA – MARSDEN PARK

Here’s a new venue of concern announced by NSW Health.

IKEA Marsden Park has been attended by confirmed case or cases of COVID‑19. If you have been there on the dates and times below you are a “close contact” and must get tested for COVID.

If you were there – Monday 12 July -12pm – 7.30pm or

Tuesday 13 July – 12pm – 4pm…

…NSW Health says, “Anyone who has attended is a close contact and must get tested and isolate for 14 days since their last day at the site, regardless of the result, and call 1800 943 553 unless they have already been contacted by NSW Health.”

Judging by the times, it looks like it was a worker at the IKEA, but then it could have been someone just taking their time over meatballs. Either way, this is a worrying development and we’re wondering why IKEA would be considered essential…
