COVID UPDATE – FRIDAY – 31 NEW CASES IN NSW – NONE REPORTED IN HAWKESBURY
New South Wales has recorded 31 new cases to 8pm last night, 13 of which were infectious while out in the community, Premier Gladys Berejiklian has said this morning – Friday.
More than 76,000 tests were carried out in the same period.
“This pretty much reflects the days before and just before we went into lockdown,” said the Premier.
“We’re anticipating that there could be an increase in numbers over the next few days and hopefully early next week we could see the numbers turning and the lockdown having an impact.”
Fingers crossed, people – but also let’s all keep following the lockdown restrictions and take a look at getting vaccinated – if you can find vaccines out there – it seems there is a wait for the Pfizer vaccine in particular.
