East Kurrajong residents invited to Resilience workshop
Hawkesbury residents are coming together through the Hawkesbury Resilience Project to help build the capacity to cope with increasingly extreme weather events, such as fires, floods and storms – and East Kurrajong residents get the chance to be part of the program next Thursday.
Organiser Tanya Ritchie told the Post, “we are currently inviting residents of East Kurrajong to a neighbourhood workshop to give an opportunity to connect with your neighbours, hear and discuss your concerns, and to consider taking practical action together as a community”.
The workshop will be professionally helmed by Vicky Whitehead, an East Kurrajong resident and Longneck Lagoon School Principal.
The event is on Thursday May 27, from 6pm until 8pm at Kurrajong East Public School. You can register to attend or find out more on www.westernsydney.edu.au/hrp.
Spots are limited so please register.
