Eggcellent Easter celebrations in Richmond, Windsor and South Windsor
During the school holidays which are just about to kick off, the Council have organised free Easter celebrations at Richmond, Windsor and South Windsor, starting on Saturday, April 3.
If you have community Easter events going on, please get in touch with us here at the Post (info@hawkesburypost.com.au), and we’ll give those some coverage too.
The Council Easter events are funded with $10,000 of NSW government money.
Those Easter activities will include:
-
chalk art – an Easter egg hunt through the town centres
-
a roving magician
-
live music from local artists
-
Easter egg colouring-in competition
-
Easter egg guessing competitions run by local businesses
-
roving entertainment, including, of course, a visit from the Easter Bunny
-
pop-up activities from Council’s Cultural Services – Hawkesbury Library Services, Hawkesbury Regional Gallery and Hawkesbury Regional Museum.
The Council has received the $10,000 grant from the NSW Government’s Festival of Place Summer Fund for the special Easter celebrations. This is a funding initiative from the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and the Environment.
