Flood Update – river at North Richmond may remain around 14m until Tues, Windsor at 13.3m pm today

Hawkesbury and Lower Nepean River:
Major flooding is occurring at North Richmond, Windsor and Lower Portland. Moderate flooding is occurring at Penrith and Sackville, with Major flooding possible at Sackville and Wisemans Ferry.
The Nepean River at Penrith peaked at 9.51 metres around 02:00 am Monday and is currently at 8.23 metres and falling, with moderate flooding. The Nepean River at Penrith may fall below the moderate flood level (7.90 m) Monday afternoon.
The Hawkesbury River at North Richmond (WPS) peaked at 14.18 metres around 03:15 am Monday and is currently at 14.12 metres and steady, with major flooding.
The Hawkesbury River at North Richmond (WPS) may remain around 14.0 metres until Tuesday morning with major flooding.
The Hawkesbury River at Windsor (WPS) may reach near 13.30 metres Monday afternoon, with major flooding.
The Hawkesbury River at Sackville may reach the major flood level (9.70 metres) Tuesday morning.
The Hawkesbury River at Lower Portland may reach 7.90 metres with major flooding. Further rises are possible.
The Hawkesbury River at Wisemans Ferry is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (3.50 m) Monday evening. The river level may reach the major flood level (4.20 m) during Tuesday.
Colo River:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Colo River.
The Colo River at Putty Road is currently around 8.50 metres and steady with moderate flooding (estimated). Further rises are possible.
The next BOM Flood Warning will be around 6pm.
