HoneyBaeDesign to open in Richmond with bulk skin care products, spa, and Mother’s Day special
Here’s a great new local business that will not only make you look and feel good, but you’ll also be helping the environment too thanks to skincare products where you can go along and fill your own jars.
The new business – HoneyBaeDesign – opens on Wednesday at 9am and is the brainchild of 24-year-old mother of one, Nartee Nelson who tells us, “I have no retail experience but I’m determined to make a name for my business and go for my dreams”.
Nartee has been busy renovating the shop space at 150a Windsor Street and it is looking brilliant.
It’s a brave move, but there’s a determination about Nartee well beyond her years and we reckon this will be one very successful store indeed.
HoneyBae is offering self-service skincare, which means you can fill your own jars and bottles with product and pay by weight. It’s convenient, is good for your hip pocket, and the environment.
“We also offer pre-packaged jars and preloved jars for $1 if you don’t have your own,” says Nartee.
“Our skincare range is 100 per cent vegan, cruelty free, chemical free and Australian-made. I am a proud Indigenous woman and I‘ve been working on a dotwork mural for the retail space too.”
If you’re after a facial mask, toner, essential oil roller or aromatherapy perfume, bath soak, body and lip scrubs – HoneyBae has got you covered.
Nartee has been working hard to get the shop ready – and it’s opening Wednesday
HoneyBae will also be offering massage therapy and spa services, as well as clay mask facials, foot soaks, migraine massages and body massages.
“Not to brag,” says Nartee, “but we already have bookings and the store isn’t open yet!
“Our website is user-friendly with all product information and ingredients. It also provides a schedule and booking system for those who may not want to call or message to make an appointment.
“We also offer spa parties and individual pamper packages, so you can enjoy the time alone or with others.
“Collaborations with other businesses such as ‘paint n bubbles’ – a painting class are also in the works and I hope to continue to support other local businesses.”
There’s also a special Mothers Day facial package deal coming up on May 9, so get in and make sure you book a space for that one for mum, or even for yourself.
