Police launch investigation into Windsor bus and truck crash

The driver of the bus was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital following the accident which occurred shortly after 6am.

The Hawkesbury SES worked with Windsor Fire and Rescue to free the driver of the bus before being taken to hospital.

“Arriving at the scene, we found that a bus had collided with a garbage truck, trapping the driver,” Windsor Fire and Rescue reported on their FB page.

“…Hawkesbury SES were quickly on the scene and set about extricating the driver from the bus. He was treated on scene and then conveyed to hospital,” it said.

Motorists driving in peak hour traffic were delayed this morning due to the incident.
