The Date for the Voice Referendum is Set

The Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced a date for the Indigenous Voice to Parliament referendum.

On October 14 Australians will go to the polls to vote YES or NO. 44 days to decide.

Australian’s will be asked whether an Indigenous Voice to Parliament should be enshrined in the country’s constitution.

The Voice is a proposed independent and permanent advisory body that would advise policymakers on matters affecting the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
