Twenty-two-year-old man dies in Oakville crash
A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Oakville.
At 2.30pm on Thursday, emergency services were called to Broos Road, Oakville, following reports of a crash. On arrival, officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command found a Toyota hatchback had left the road and crashed into a stone wall. The driver – and sole occupant – a 22-year-old man was treated at the scene by police before the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics who continued to treat the man, though unfortunately he died at the scene.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. As inquiries continue, anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police say a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
