Walk-in Astra Zeneca vaccine clinic at Windsor’s Hawkesbury Community Health Centre this weekend
A new walk in COVID vaccination clinic will be open tomorrow Saturday September 25, and Sunday at Windsor’s Hawkesbury Hospital, but only for the Astra Zeneca vaccine.
The clinic will operate as part of the after-hours GP clinic and administer the AstraZeneca vaccine on weekends from now on, starting at 2pm to 8pm.
The AZ vaccine is available for anyone aged 18 years or older.
“If you have had your first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine more than 4 weeks ago, a second dose is recommended between 4 and 8 weeks. Completing the two-dose schedule is important to ensure maximum protection, says a hospital spokesperson.
If you have not been vaccinated, you can simply walk-in to receive your AstraZeneca vaccine.
When attending the COVID-19 vaccination clinic, you need to take along a valid Medicare card.
Clinic location:
GP-After Hours Clinic Hawkesbury Community Health Centre 2 Day Street Windsor NSW 2756
Clinic opening hours:
Saturday to Sunday 2pm to 8pm
