Morning everyone, just wanted to welcome all the new subscribers who have joined since the Facebook news ban yesterday – we’ve seen over 100 new subscribers – good to have you all here.

We’ll be ramping up our content, both in terms of depth and reach, and we’ve got plans for expansion in the near future, so while the tech giant’s move is not great for media companies in some ways, we’re not going to let it slow us down.

Just a quick one on the email alerts that go out when we post a new story. Sometimes we might post five or even six stories in a day and I know you can get fed up getting that many email alerts and then they might be ignored.

The problem with the system is, if you don’t click on them, after a while it stops sending them out because it doesn’t want to be accused of spamming you.

I’ve been caught out myself with this, and now I just click on each one so it tells the system I’m looking.

The other alternative is just to drop in here when you want or can and we’ll be here.
