Hawkesbury Gymnastics Club Triumphs at State Awards
Windsor’s Kachan School of Tumbling and Performance (KSTP) emerged as a standout at the Gymnastics NSW Annual Awards, securing honours alongside three exceptional gymnasts. More than 600 people attended the annual awards ceremony at Doltone House in Sydney on February 11, to recognise the achievements of gymnastics within New South Wales.
KSTP clinched the title of Trampoline Gymnastics Levels Coaching Team of the Year, a testament to their outstanding performance during the previous season.

ANZAC Day Dawn Service Honours Sacrifice and Remembrance
ANZAC Day was honoured at numerous services around the Hawkesbury last week as residents paid homage to the bravery and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand service personnel, past and present.
At Richmond hundreds of people gathered at the break of dawn as the haunting notes of the Last Post echoed across the memorial grounds, a poignant reminder of the price of freedom. Wreathes were laid in honor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their countries.
Among the attendees were veterans, their families, and members of the wider community, united in their shared respect for those who have served.

Jarome Luai has confirmed he’ll move from Penrith Panthers to West Tigers after signing a reported $6 million five year deal. “It’s the toughest decision I’ve ever had to make,” Laui told the media at a press conference today.
For Panthers the news wasn’t unexpected and comes with the Club’s blessing acknowledging that salary cap restrictions had influenced the situation.

The Sydney to Hobart yacht race has ended in heartbreak for Ebenezer mum Jamie Winning Kermond and Andoo Comanche as she battled for line honours in one of the most exciting finishes to the race in its history.
Slow conditions saw a neck and neck battle to the finish line between the two super maxis, Andoo Comanche and Law Connect who at times were just metres apart heading down the Derwent River. But in the final seconds Law Connect inched ahead to take out 2023 line honours in the blue water classic.
