BILPIN ALERT – NSW Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Damaging Winds

Issued at 4:55 pm Monday, January 17.

“Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours,” says BOM just before 5pm today and they’re highlighting Bilpin as one of the areas which may be at risk.

“Locations which may be affected include Bilpin, Wollombi, Kulnura, Glen Davis, Capertee, and Kandos.” says BOM.

The weather situation is being caused as thunderstorms continue to develop in a warm and unstable airmass north of a cloud band over the southeast of the state.
