Anyone who has been affected by the Hawkesbury floods is welcome to pick up free pet supplies provided by Petbarn, says an RSPCA NSW spokesperson, announcing two new venues for the free pet food and equipment pick-up this coming week at Richmond and Riverstone.
RSPCA NSW has already held two very successful events at South Windsor and Wisemans Ferry, with products and items supplied free by Petbarn.
“Our relief point in South Windsor had a near non-stop line of people for over three hours, with pet bedding, shampoo, and flea/tick/worming treatments most in demand,” said the RSPCA NSW spokesperson.
“All pet beds we had on the day were gone in the first half hour. We appreciate the continued donations of pet products from Petbarn and encourage pet owners to come down to our future relief points to get everything they need for their pets,” said the spokesperson.
“Our friendly volunteers will help provide as much support as we can.
“Pet hampers, kindly donated by the Petbarn Foundation, will be distributed which may include kitty litter, dog and cat food (dry and wet), leads, beds and collars.
“The response to our relief points so far have been overwhelming, and we are grateful to be able to help people and their animals affected by the floods.”
