Man injured, airlifted to hospital – Wisemans Ferry

A man in his 40’s remains in a serious condition after sustaining injuries to his face an eyes at a property near Wisemans Ferry this morning.

The Mounties CareFlight Helicopter responded to an emergency call where on a neighbour transported the medical team to the patient via a ute.

The CareFlight doctor and the NSW Ambulance Critical Care Paramedic immediately administered treatment to the injured man on the scene. Following initial care, with the assistance of the neighbour, the CareFlight medical crew safely transported the patient back to the awaiting helicopter.

The injured man was then airlifted to Royal North Shore hospital in a serious but stable condition.
