Motorcyclist dies on Putty Road at Colo Heights after collision with truck

Emergency services were called to the Putty Road at Colo Heights at 4.35pm today – Saturday – and found the motorcycle, being ridden south, and a northbound tip-truck had collided in the northbound lane.

Multiple passers-by stopped to render assistance but the rider died at the scene.

The driver of the truck has been taken for mandatory testing.

The Putty Road is closed from Packer Rd all the way to the Colo servo and motorists are advised to check www.livetraffic.com for updates.
