Police appeal for public assistance after Agnes Banks crash early Sunday evening
Police are appealing for public assistance after a single vehicle crash at 6.45pm in Agnes Banks – Sunday – after a vehicle left the road and crashed into a power pole.
Officers from Nepean Police Area Command arrived on scene and found a Nissan Patrol had crashed at the junction of Springwood Road.
The front seat passenger was trapped.
Fire and Rescue NSW and State Emergency Service volunteers managed to release the 18-year-old woman from the vehicle.
She was taken to Westmead Hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics for assessment of minor injuries.
The driver of the Nissan – a 17-year-old man – was uninjured. He was given a roadside breath test that was negative.
A 17-year-old male passenger was also uninjured.
Police have begun inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident and they are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
