RED ALERT – 4.11pm – Bilpin region – Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Giant Hail, Destructive Winds

Batten down the hatches, folks – especially those in the Bilpin area – BOM issues Red Alert at 4.11pm.

“Locations which may be affected include Bilpin, Penrith, and Springwood,” says BOM in their alert.

“Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce destructive winds and giant hailstones over the next several hours in parts of the Metropolitan and Central Tablelands districts,” says BOM.
