Tragic Death on Central Coast Mountain Bike Ride

A 66-year-old man lost his life during a mountain bike ride on the Central Coast yesterday.

Emergency services including the Toll Rescue Helicopter were alerted to the incident at Dubbo Gully Road, Mangrove Mountain, around 11:30 am on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Despite the efforts of NSW Ambulance paramedics, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Authorities from the Brisbane Water Police District arrived at the location and were informed that the man was partaking in a group bike ride at the time of the incident.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event has been initiated, and a report will be compiled for the Coroner’s review.
