VERY HIGH FIRE WARNING – for the Hawkesbury today

Although there are no Total Fire Bans in place this morning in NSW, there is elevated fire risk because of forecast hot, dry and windy conditions.

Very High fire danger is forecast for many areas of NSW including the Riverina, Central Ranges and Greater Sydney – and yes, that does include the Hawkesbury which is one of the local government areas in number 4 on the map here.

RFS says know what you and your family will do if fire threatens and report all new unattended fires immediately to Triple Zero (000).
