Oct 19, 2020

A South Windsor man arrested by police on Friday evening at a house he wasn’t allowed to visit was charged with breaching an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO), refused bail and taken immediately to appear before Parramatta Court.

The 40-year-old was arrested at premises in South Windsor. An AVO had previously been put in place restricting him from attending the premises police found him at.

In a separate incident on Saturday evening, police charged a Sackville man with assault after they were called to a Sackville home.

The 29-year-old was arrested at the scene and taken to Windsor Police Station. After further investigation the man was charged with an offence which is alleged to have taken place on September 26, in addition to the offences allegedly committed on Saturday.

The man was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intimidation, and assault. An AVO was placed on the man by police and he will be appearing at Windsor Court next month.
