WARRAGAMBA DAM LETTING WATER OUT TODAY

Bit of news just now, and shouldn’t be too much drama downstream, as in the Hawkesbury, but then it is raining pretty heavily…

WaterNSW tells us, “the side radial gates at Warragamba Dam are being tested today for short periods from 11.00am.

“The gates will be open to 4.5% as per standard protocol, ahead of any possible increase in inflows to the dam.

“Minimal downstream impacts are expected,” says WaterNSW.
