Source: Bureau of Meteorology Warning issued at 1:08 pm on Friday 7 January 2022
A severe thunderstorm outbreak and rainfall is forecast over the coming days with widespread areas of risk through the southwest and central west in NSW from today – Friday, says the Bureau of Meteorology just now.
The weather system is expected to cause minor flooding for several river catchments, which includes the Hawkesbury and Lower Nepean rivers, says BOM.
“Impending rainfall has the potential to cause minor river level rises along the Nepean later on Saturday and into Sunday,” says the BOM.
