Accident in Richmond – traffic conditions still bad as mop up continues
About 7:30am this morning a head on collision occurred in March Street, west of the intersection of East Market Street. One man was trapped in a light truck and was eventually freed by emergency services.
In all four vehicles were involved in the incident. Toll Air Ambulance responded with three drivers assessed by NSW Ambulance officers and two conveyed to Westmead Hospital for treatment for injuries sustained in the collision. Both are in a stable condition with fractures and internal injuries.
The road remains closed with local diversions in place whilst Members of the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are conducting on-scene investigations.
