Comanchero Charged with Alleged Historical Sexual and Physical Assault 

A member of the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) will appear in court today in connection with alleged historical sexual and physical assaults. The charges stem from a year-long investigation conducted by Hawkesbury detectives.

Initiated in October 2022, the Hawkesbury Police Area Command established Strike Force Muecke. This special task force was formed in response to reports concerning a 29-year-old woman who claimed to have suffered sexual assault between the years 2017 and 2021.

In the course of ongoing inquiries, detectives assigned to the strike force spoke with two additional women, aged 19 and 39. These conversations proved pivotal in advancing the investigation.

Subsequently, a 60-year-old man, already acquainted with the women, was apprehended by detectives and is presently facing judicial proceedings. 

Strike force detectives have since spoken to a another, 27-year-old woman.

Following subsequent inquiries investigators visited Silverwater Correctional Facility on Monday, 28 August 2023. During this visit, they spoke to a 60-year-old man, leading to his subsequent arrest.

He was charged with aggravated sexual assault – inflict actual bodily harm on victim, two counts of special aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-weapon, two counts of common assault, and attempt to cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent.

Police will allege in court that the man sexually assaulted the woman in May 2017 and physically assaulted her in June 2020 during a break in at her home.

The man in question has been remanded in custody pending further legal proceedings. He will appear at Penrith Local Court today, Tuesday, 29 August 2023.
