Have you seen 9-year-old Charlise? She’s missing from Mt Wilson
Yes, it’s not the Hawkesbury, but these are our neighbours and there’s a young child missing, so someone may know or have seen something.
Blue Mountains Police have started to send out geo-targeted text messages to areas including Bilpin and down into Kurrajong and Bowen Mountain asking if anyone has seen Charlise Mutten who has been missing since Thursday.
A police operation is underway after the child was reported missing in the Blue Mountains.
Police received the report about 8.20am today – Friday – that a nine-year-old girl had been missing from a property at Mt Wilson, 60km north-west of Richmond, since yesterday (Thursday 13 January 2022).
Charlise Mutten, aged nine, is described as being of Caucasian appearance, thin with brown hair. It’s not known what she was wearing at the time.
A command post has been established at the Mt Wilson Rural Fire Service Station and a full-scale search has been going on, with members from the RFS and SES assisting police from the Blue Mountains Police Area Command, Police Rescue, the Dog Unit, and PolAir.
