We’re waiting for today’s Hawkesbury COVID numbers – currently sitting at 54 active cases – and we’ll update that once we get them.
“This morning Dr Chant, myself that the other Premiers discussed what we can announce on Thursday or Friday to allow our citizens to have the extra degree of freedom in the next little while which we are looking forward to do,” said the Premier.
She will also outline later this week what the picture is for schools and when pupils may be going back to school.
Meanwhile, there are 608 COVID patients in hospital, with 107 of those in ICU, and 34 on ventilators.

There are still many over the age of 70 who have not had their first does of the vaccine, she said.
